About Dabashis Dabashis is well known to many Indian dance enthusiasts in the US and India for his classical dance expertise and choreographies.
Dabashis started taking classical dance training at a very early age. He is trained in a variety of Indian classical dance styles like Bharatnatyam, Manipuri, Kathak etc. He has also received training in folk dance styles of East India.
Dabashis attained his Masters from Shantiniketan University, India in classical dance forms of Kathakali and Manipuri. He ran a classical dance school for many years in Bangladesh specializing in classical dance styles of Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Manipuri and Kathak. He has also been a TV artist for several years during his stay in Bangladesh.
After he moved to the Unites States, he also taught classical Indian dance for more than 6 years in New Jersery and New York.
He now lives in St. Louis with his family and is excited about teaching classical dance styles at Bollywood Shuffle.
